VOLUNTEER

YES!  I'D LIKE TO HELP BY VOLUNTEERING WITH BJCC.

You've come to the right place:

BJCC boasts a wonderful volunteer program which encourages volunteers to participate in a wide range of activities to both meet their interests and benefit the individuals we serve.  We work with multiple organizations, including schools and synagogues, to find a large, diverse group of volunteers for our programs.  New volunteers of all ages are always welcome.  BJCC volunteer opportunities are as varied as the people who participate in and benefit from them.  Our Director of Volunteers tailors activities to meet the needs of all involved.

Here are some ways you can help:

- Volunteers are friendly visitors who see agency clients, serving as an invaluable extra set of eyes and ears for staff who can't be in touch with every client every day.

- Volunteers are collectors of food and specialty items when people are in need.

- Volunteers bring cheer to isolated older adults through our holiday programming.

- Volunteers deliver hundreds of holiday food packages.

Are you an individual, family, school, synagogue, or other group interested in getting involved?
